Proud this year to have organized the Paint en Plein Air and Photography project of historic farmsteads and homesteads of Raritan Township NJ in celebration of the Township’s 185th Anniversary. A collection of beautiful artworks and photographs by local artists was the product of this project. 2023 Raritan Township Calendars of the artwork from the artist participants is available at the Raritan Township Municipal Clerk office. A collection of the artwork has also been bound into a soft cover book for each artist and each location throughout the Township.
The project will continue in 2024.
A very special thank you to ArtVenture NJ for their membership participation in this project and Helen Meyers for her endless help in coordinating artists to the various sites for the painting and photography sessions. It was a very special activity this year for all involved. A special thank you for the participating owners of the various properties who welcomed us on each date. It was a pleasure to learn more of these properties and the owners who maintain each site. The following are a few excerpts of the 2023 book.
